C. Craven Jameson, II, DMD

Job Position

Educated at East Carolina University for both his undergraduate studies and dental school education, Dr. Jameson graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology and then went on to graduate dental school with honors. He then completed his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital, part of Yale University. His residency training stressed anesthesia/pain control for both children and adults, soft and hard tissue reconstruction for dental/facial implants, corrective jaw surgery, removal of wisdom teeth, facial trauma reconstruction, and evaluation and treatment of various oral pathological conditions. Dr. Jameson is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

He chose oral surgery because it allows him to combine the art and science of surgery in an atmosphere he feels is more personalized than patients typically experience in the medical field. He has a deep respect and appreciation for the level of technical precision required to achieve good outcomes.

Dr. Jameson had the privilege of serving in the Army National Guard for eleven years. He graduated from Basic Combat Training at the head of his class as the Distinguished Honor Graduate. He was a combat medic prior to commissioning into the Dental Corps as a Captain, where he was able to provide care for soldiers.

Both Dr. Jameson and his wife, Katlin, are born and raised North Carolinians who love to spend their free time enjoying the outdoors with their three children and cockapoo, Ellie-Mae.
